President

Bobby has over 15 years of business & IT experience working with myriad clients including startups, non-profits, defense contractors, Fortune 500 and Local, State and Federal agencies. His broad expertise with computer, network and web technologies led him to create Symposit. He received a B.S. in Decision Sciences and Management Information Systems from George Mason University, a M.S. in Computer Information Systems with a concentration in Security from Boston University, professional certificates from Georgetown and Dartmouth, and other technical certifications.

Bobby serves on the Board of Directors of Byte Back, a DC-based tech non-profit that provides free computer education and certification to communities with limited opportunities as a pathway to a living wage career. In addition, Bobby is also an active member of AFCEA, Infragard and GTSC.

In his free time, Bobby likes to explore with his daughter, go running, roots for the Caps and tries to housebreak his Boston Terrier.

Steven Richardson

Steve is a seasoned IT Professional, with over 30 years of experience dating back to the PC evolution.  He holds industry certifications as a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, Certified Novell Engineer, ISO 9001:2000 Lead Technical Auditor and ITIL Foundations.  Steve has also spent 10 years working as an IT Director for the L-3 Communications Corporation, a top U.S. Defense contractor, where his work included, but was not limited to, providing support for the following organizations/agencies:

  •     U.S. Army/Information Management Center (Pentagon)
  •     U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission
  •     U.S. Department of Education
  •     State of Alaska Governor’s Office
  •     Research Planning, Inc. (an Emergency Mgmt company, acquired by BTG Inc)
Chris Jenkins
Systems Administrator

Chris has had over a decade of technical experience supporting various different contracts for federal agencies as well as DoD.  In that capacity, he has filled multiple roles as direct IT customer support, wireless technology subject matter expert, instructional systems designer/instructor and others.  He is a proud Air Force veteran and as a result of his training, can speak a little Farsi. On off hours he likes to read, cook and hang out with his kids who are getting too smart for him to teach them much anymore.
