Symposit will provide products and services only when they are within the applicable SEWP VI scope and supported by an authorized Symposit quotation and valid order.

Fair Opportunity

For orders exceeding the micro-purchase threshold, Ordering Contracting Officers are responsible for providing fair opportunity to eligible contract holders in accordance with FAR 16.505(b), unless a properly documented exception applies under FAR 16.505(b)(2).

Ordering activities may use the NASA SEWP Quote Request Tool, Market Research Request process, Requests for Information, or other NASA SEWP-authorized procedures to conduct market research, solicit quotations, evaluate best value, and document their fair-opportunity determination.

Symposit welcomes RFQs, RFIs, market-research requests, and capability inquiries from authorized Federal customers. For assistance identifying an appropriate acquisition approach, Ordering Contracting Officers should follow their agency procedures and may consult the NASA SEWP Program Management Office.

SEWP Fee

NASA SEWP applies an Agency Administrative Handling Fee of up to 0.34% to SEWP VI orders. The applicable fee is included in Symposit’s quoted total price and is not separately charged to the ordering activity unless NASA SEWP directs otherwise.

How to Obtain a Quote

  1. Develop the requirement. Prepare the applicable statement of work, performance work statement, bill of materials, specifications, delivery requirements, security requirements, and agency-specific clauses.
  2. Issue a request through an authorized method. Use the NASA SEWP Quote Request Tool, Market Research Request process, RFI, RFQ, or another authorized process appropriate to the acquisition.
  3. Contact Symposit. Provide the requirement documentation, anticipated order type, desired period of performance or delivery date, place of performance, Government point of contact, and any applicable evaluation factors.
  4. Receive and evaluate the quotation. Symposit will provide a quotation, subject to SEWP VI scope and contract terms. The Ordering Activity is responsible for evaluating quotations, determining best value, and documenting fair-opportunity compliance as required.
  5. Issue the order through NASA SEWP. The Ordering Activity should cite Symposit’s SEWP VI contract number, 80TECH26D0814, and route the order through NASA SEWP in accordance with current NASA SEWP ordering procedures.
  6. Receive order confirmation and support. Symposit will coordinate fulfillment, performance, delivery, and post-award support after the order is validated and processed in accordance with NASA SEWP procedures.
