IT Contractor Symposit LLC Awarded General Services Administration Contract
Contract Simplifies Procurement Process for Government Agencies
FALLS CHURCH, VA – Symposit LLC announced today that it was awarded a U.S. General Services Administration (GSA), Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) Schedule 70 contract. This five-year IT contract approves Symposit to a federal catalog of technology companies for IT related acquisitions, thus simplifying the agency procurement process and ensuring government agencies receive high-quality, cost effective technology advisory services.
Symposit has been approved to compete as a prime contractor for Special Item Numbers (SIN) 132-51: Information Technology Professional Services, and 132-56: Health IT.
The GSA award represents months of preparation and evaluation, in which the GSA determines suitability for performing as a Prime Contractor. This evaluation assessed Symposit’s capabilities, leadership, past performance, and customer satisfaction, among other criteria. As part of this process, Symposit engaged in the Dun and Bradstreet (D&B) OpenRatings past performance evaluation, for which it achieved an overall performance rating of 94 out of 100.

According to the GSA, the Health IT SIN provides agencies with an easy to find, easy to buy central location to research and compare pre-qualified Health IT service providers. It offers a wide range of Health IT services to include connected health, electronic health records, health information exchanges, health analytics, personal health information management, innovative Health IT solutions, health informatics, emerging Health IT research, and other Health IT services.
